How Does Soft Surgery Work?

This 90 minute facial combines Gua Sha Facial Massage with acupressure, it is designed to relieve tension in the muscles of the face, increase blood circulation bringing nutrients to the skin that help the skin glow and encourage lymphatic drainage to eliminate puffiness and toxins building up in the skin. The essence of how Gua Sha treats the face is in the flow of blood and oxygen.

The ancient Chinese had an amazing understanding of how blood and oxygen move around the body. Qi refers to the idea of nourishing the body with a constant flow of oxygenated blood full of nutrients. If this flow is normal, then the body is functioning well; if not the body reacts and sends signals in the form of pain, stiffness, discomfort and so on. Dermaplaning is essentially another form of exfoliation. With each stroke, you are sloughing off dead skin cells that sit on the surface and the constant exfoliation may aid in keeping wrinkles at bay.
